Why Does God Allow Evil to happen in the World?

The whole idea of Creation is the struggle between good & evil, & to show the difference. If there was no darkness, we wouldn't appreciate the light. If we didn't have the Devil, we wouldn't appreciate God & Jesus! There has to be evil in order to understand good. There has to be the opposite side of the coin to show the difference.

The Lord had to let Adam & Eve fall in the Garden & let them eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good & Evil, so they would know the difference. They had all the good, but they may not have understood what good was, & how good it was, because they didn't have anything to compare it with, it was all good. They never really appreciated the Garden until they lost it.

There has to be a little evil & a little bad to make you appreciate the good things. If you didn't have a few troubles you wouldn't thank the Lord for all the good things! If you didn't have problems, you wouldn't appreciate the solutions. He allows the bad or the evil to show you that you never had it so good, & to help you be more thankful for when things are good, & to help you appreciate Himself--the Good of all goods!

Is There a Mansion in Heaven for You?

One of these days, if you're faithful, you'll own a mansion that won't cost you anything!--No rent or expenses! Jesus said, "In My Father's House are many mansions. I go to prepare a place for you." (Jn.14:2)--And your rewards There will be proportioned according to your works here. Whatever you have There, you will have already sent ahead in the way of souls won, victories won, battles won & rewards won for your service here!

It's like the well-known tale about the rich woman being led to her Heavenly Home by an Angel: They walked past many beautiful mansions where other Christians were living, until finally they got to a poor section of shanties, & the Angel led her through a gate into the yard of a tiny hut. "What's the big idea?" she said, "I'm used to very fine living!" "Well," the Angel answered, "the abodes up here are built of what each person sends on before, & this is all you sent!"--Whereas others had sacrificed & lived their whole lives for the Lord & helped many others, & great was their reward in Heaven!

So just be faithful, & one day you'll find that whatever you've paid here is not worthy to be compared with the glory to be revealed there in that Heavenly place that He's gone to prepare!

We Owe Him Everything!

Jesus was willing to die for us to save us, & He wants us to be willing to sacrifice & even die for His cause to save others. (1John 3:16) He bought & paid for us, we're His property, we belong to Him now. Jesus saved our souls, saved our lives for Eternity! So of course we should give our lives & try to win as many others as we can!

Jesus didn't go half-way to the cross for you, or almost all the way, but He went all the way, & gave all His life for you! The main job He came to do was to die on that cross, & so the main job you've got to do is bear your cross. He said, "If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself & take up his cross daily & follow Me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it." (Lk.9:23,24) He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.

We can only find the fullness of faith that we seek in the path of complete obedience, when we're really willing to take up our cross & deny ourselves, yielding our pride & our will to follow Jesus.--Then He will give us the power to follow as we surrender to Him!

Praise The Lord!

"The heavens declare Your glory, O God; and the firmament shows Your handiwork. Your law, O Lord, is perfect, converting the soul: Your testimonies are sure, making wise the simple. Your statutes are right, rejoicing the heart: Your commandments are pure, enlightening the eyes. Your fear is clean, enduring for ever: Your judgments are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them are Your servants warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward."

"With His Stripes We are Healed." (Isa.53:5)

Our bodies belong to Jesus. Jesus has bought our souls or spirits with His blood, & we are saved, but He has also bought our bodies with His sufferings. He died for your salvation, but He suffered for your healing. His body was broken for you, for the healing of your body. There is Salvation both for the body & for the spirit.

He's already paid for, not only your Salvation, but your healing. He shed His blood for your Salvation, & what did He do for your healing?--The Bible says, "By His stripes, His wounds, ye are healed!"--He suffered for your healing. So we can claim healing even as a part of His atonement. We can claim it as a part of what He paid for. He paid for it, it's yours already for the asking!

So if you've been sick & you need healing, ask the Lord to heal you, & take it by faith & it's there for you! God not only can do it, but He wants to do it! He's more willing to give than we are to receive! Believe God! He never fails! Hold Him to His Word! He says "Command ye Me!" (Isa.45:11) Have desperate prayer, & expect a miracle! You do your part, & the rest is up to God. "Ask & ye shall receive!" (Mat.7:7)

"A Man's Life Consisteth Not In The Abundance of the things which He Possesseth!" (Lk.12:15)

Living, the real thing, doesn't consist of things at all, because things cannot satisfy! They may temporarily satisfy the body but they can never satisfy the soul or the spirit of Man, which cries out to God its Father for the joy & happiness & the eternal fulfillment that only God can give & which He created us to enjoy!

If you think things will satisfy you, look at the unsaved rich!--They've got everything, yet something's missing because this World will never satisfy their souls. It can satisfy their bodies but not their hearts.--And when they do satisfy the flesh they're not happy for very long, because you have to keep satisfying the flesh. The more they get the more they want, because this World doesn't satisfy the needs of the spirit which only God can fill!

"Life," Jesus says, "is more than things!" It doesn't really matter how few or how many things you have! What really counts is Love & Joy & True Happiness in your heart.--And the greatest of all riches, the most valuable thing in the World that you can possibly have is Jesus!

Pray!--God has the Answer!

All the answers to our questions & problems are simple for the Lord! In fact, sometimes this is why the Lord lets us have a problem, so that He can give us the answer! He likes for us to find out that we can't always solve our problems on our own, & that we need His help! After all, if we could figure it all out & solve all our own problems, we wouldn't need Him! He likes to give us answers to remind us that we're dependent on Him & we need Him. He likes us to appreciate His help & to love Him for it. He even knows what things we have need of before we ask. (Mat.6:8)--But He usually waits for us to ask!

The Lord solves problems so easily if we just ask Him, but He likes us to ask Him! But sometimes our own pride & independence get in the way & we don't want to ask! We don't want to admit that we don't have the solution. We don't want to admit that we can't solve it so we try to do it ourselves to the point of frustration, when all we need to do is ask & receive His answer!

"I may not know all the answers, but I know the Answer Man!" God's got all the answers! He knows it all! Try Jesus! He Is the Answer! Praise God

Words From Jesus

I have brought this one into My Kingdom and into My arms. This loss that you feel is but a momentary loss, and the rewards which I will reward you with will be much greater. So do not fear and do not waste precious moments lamenting and blaming yourself. Do not take upon yourself the guilt and condemnation the Devil would seek to place upon you. For these thoughts--the guilt, remorse, extreme sadness, condemnation, lethargy and blaming yourself--are not from Me. They are from Satan, who seeks to steal your strength and your joy.

So do not fear and lament and weep, but rejoice that the one you love so dearly is now safe in My Kingdom. He is safe and able to perform My will and to fulfill the purpose for which he was created.

"Great souls are often those who have undergone great sorrows but have refused to give up."

God Never Stops Loving You!

What is God like? Some people picture Him as an angry God--an all-seeing eye Who carries a big stick around, ready to clobber them! But actually, He is Love! He's a loving God who is trying to love everyone into Heaven! He's so close, so intimate, so personal, so loving, so kind, so tender, so gentle, so concerned, & He's waiting with open arms. The only reason He follows us around is that He's hoping we'll turn around & meet Him with open arms!

He never stops loving us no matter what we do. He never rejects us or withdraws His Love. He always has hope for us no matter how far we've strayed. So if you feel far from God, maybe it's because you haven't opened your heart to receive His Love & forgiveness! You need not continue to feel condemned for your mistakes & sins, only be sorry, ask for God's forgiveness, & be forgiven! (Isa.1:18; 1Jn.1:9)

If you'll even start God's way, if you'll just turn toward Him & start trying to find your way Home, the Father will come running toward you & receive you with open arms of love! (Lk.15:18-24)
