Faith & Obedience Come First! --Then God Answers Prayer!

Throughout His Word, God commanded men to do something first before He met them. God told Moses to strike the rock & then He'd bring forth water. (Exo.17:6) When Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead He said, "Roll ye away the stone!" (Jn.11:39) They manifested their faith by obedience! If we take that step of faith & it's God's Will, He'll meet us!

God likes to test our faith. He likes to see how much we really believe, & He often will not give us answers until we obey what He's already told us or showed us. We have to take the step of faith, reach out the hand of faith & obey God if we want to receive His blessings! But if we obey what we know God wants us to do, then He'll show us more truth; & when we obey that, He'll give us a little more. And step by step, as we follow Him, He will show us more & more.

We can't always wait until God answers. Many times we just have to step out by faith even if we don't see the ground we're going to put our foot on. Just hold on tight to the hand of God & He will go before you & lead you. That's the walk of faith. Even if you can't see ahead, just put your hand into the hand of God! (2Cor.5:7)
